Famous for it’s Nailsea Glass, the ruins of the old glass works site are now buried under the grass hump at the end of the High Street. A statue of a glass blower at work marks the old site towards Tesco’s store.

The local market is held every Tuesday in Somerset Square.
Farmers Market
The farmers market is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 09.00 am to 1.00 pm in Somerset Square. Locally sourced fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, cheese and all you would expect from a farmers market. Usually combined with a craft market.
Pubs and Restaurants
Nailsea has a good range of pubs some noted for their real ales, some for good value food and all for their warm and friendly welcome. There are also restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and English cuisine, most of which offer a take away service.
