Local visitor attractions within a few miles are the National Trust properties of Tyntesfield House and Gardens and Clevedon Court and for younger visitors, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.
Bristol Harbourside is about 8 miles, with many festivals during the summer, including Bristol’s famous International Balloon Fiesta held at Ashton Court. In the same area is Brunel’s SS Great Britain, Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bristol Zoo.
Bath and the little city of Wells are both easily reached within 45 minutes, the journey to Wells taking you across the Mendip Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Close by is Cheddar famous for its strawberry’s and its caves and the mysterious caves at Wookey Hole. Weston Super Mare and the famous pier, which burnt down in the spring of 2008, has been re-built and has now re-opened.
The Tithe Barn has been recently restored and is available for a range of functions.
